The Antiques
There are two artists with this name:
1) The Antiques first met in Santa Barbara in 2000. After several years of playing shows with a different lineup of musicians, the three original members, Joey Barro (guitar, vocals), Chris Good (drums, vocals), and Ben Donaldson (bass, vocals) formed The Antiques in Los Angeles in 2003. Emerging as a familiar sounding roots rock group, The Antiques added fourth member Josh Hertz (guitar, lapsteel, vocals) to the lineup early in 2005. Currently, The Antiques are playing shows throughout southern California and expect to release their new album, "Nicknames and Natives" (recorded at John Vanderslice's Tiny Telephone Studios), on Banter Records in May of 2006.
